Specify these, or regret it

• Credentialing standards. Which credentials, verified by whom, refreshed how often - and the maximum age of verification at shift start.
• Credential-expiry handling. Require suppliers to describe how expiring credentials block scheduling before they lapse, not after.
• Joint Commission awareness. If your facilities are accredited, state it and require supplier processes to match.
• Shift-level fill SLAs. Per diem and block-schedule fill commitments measured at the shift, not the month.
• Clinical quality signals. Do-not-return rates and clinical incident reporting, with denominators.

"Supplier shall verify licensure, certifications, and immunization records prior to first shift and maintain continuous monitoring; any credential lapse shall automatically remove the worker from the schedule until re-verified."
